Ann Kreilkamp's workshop circuit

Ann is willing to travel to your town to talk about Crone and how to utilize the the philosophical worldview of astrology as a developmental framework for the process of Coming into Crone. This evolutionary perspective on the "Crone" phase of life provokes and stimulates us to see beyond the usual cultural blinders and activate our larger potential. Email Ann.

Transforming the Military

For over three years now, we have been featuring "Space Visions," by Carol Rosin, a former corporate manager of a large aerospace defense company. In the early '80s, Carol transformed her own mindset to the point where she quit the industry and founded the Washington, D.C. "Institute for Security and Cooperation in Outer Space." Carol considers her life path to be that of transforming the game that the military is playing in space from weaponization to creative and cooperative peaceful uses. Like an ancient Cassandra, Carol has been warning us that another version of Reagan's "Star Wars" is in the works, and as of this writing (March, 2000) she has been proved correct: the mainstream press now reports that Clinton is to sign off on the first stage of this enormously costly, unnecessary and destabilizing system by July or sometimes in the summer of 2000. Email Carol.

Annual Crones Counsel gatherings

Crone Chronicles founder Ann Kreilkamp conceived a gathering of crones back in 1992 and asked Shauna Adix of Salt Lake City to put the idea into motion. (Shauna, now deceased, was the pioneering Director of the Women's Center of the University of Utah for over 20 years, beginning in 1972.) The first Crones Counsel gathered in Jackson, Wyoming, in October 1993, with 116 women in attendance, and featured Storytelling (from women's real life experiences), as well as workshops and crone ceremony. Crone Chronicles co-sponsors what has become annual Counsels in or near different western cities, with an average attendance of 300 women. The 2002 Crones Counsel will be held at Asilomar, on the coast of California, near Monterey. Email the registrar. Also see the Crones Counsel web site

What Matters

"What Matters" is the overall title for a series of planned anthologies to mine the best of the first ten years of Crone Chronicles . The first volume, Interviews and Conversations, was published in early 1999, now available from the Crone Store. A special edition of this volume is planned for late 2000 and will include a CD with poetry in the poets' own voices. The second volume of What Matters, a collection of Ann Kreilkamp's editorials and essays, will appear in 2001.
